Canadian Centre for Architecture: Building and Gardens is a monograph about the development of the esteemed research, archive and exhibition institution of the Canadian Centre for Architecture. CCA was founded in 1979 as an independent study centre and museum.

The book consists of expert articles by John Harris, Phyllis Lambert, George Baird, Chantal Pontbriand, Melvin Charney, Robert Lemire and Helen Malkin. The articles and the rich illustration tells about the making of the institution, its programmes and premises. The book has been edited by Larry Richards, and it was published by CCA in 1989.
