[In English, scroll down] Saimme aiemmin tänä vuonna kokoelmiimme kasan hajonneita taidekirjoja. Kirjat ovat saksalaisen Verlag von W. Spemann -kustantamon Das Museum -sarjaa, ja niitä käytettiin aikoinaan taidehistorian opetuksessa. Taidehistorian opetus on muuttunut sitten 1900-luvun alun, ja kirjojen sidoksetkin ovat rikki, joten aarteillamme ei kokonaisina niteinä ole enää kuin kuriositeettiarvoa. Niinpä päätimme tarjota myyntiin kirjojen kauniita lehtiä irtosivuina. Yhden lehden hinta on 4 €, koko on noin 263 x 362 mm, kääntöpuolella on lyhyt saksankielinen kuvaus teoksen pääpiirteistä ja taidehistoriallisista yksityiskohdista. Earlier this year, we got a heap of old, broken art books to be included in our collections. The books are from the Das Museum series and published by the German publisher Verlag von W. Spemann; originally used for teaching art history. As art history pedagogy has changed since the 1900s, and the bindings are completely broken as well, our treasures no longer have but curiosity value. We’ve therefore decided to offer the individual pages for sales at 4 € each. The size of one print is circa 263 x 362 mm; there’s a short description of the artwork in German on the backside. Below is a listing of the books that we have, and a table of artwork examples that we currently have on display in our workroom.
