[In English, scroll down] Muuttourakkamme on vihdoin ohi ja Munkkiniemi on saanut uuden arkkitehtuurikirjakaupan. Painavat kirjalaatikot, hyllyt ja muut tavarat on raahattu Kadetintielle, nyt järjestelemme hyllyjä, kalustamme tilaa ja ehostamme pientä puotia avauskuntoon.
Syksyn 2019 tapahtumia: Design Market ja maailman arkkitehtuuripäivä
Syyskautemme alkaa tuttuun tapaan Helsinki Design Weekin Design Market -myyntitapahtumassa. Tervetuloa Helsingin Kaapelitehtaalle 7.–8.9.2019 klo 11–18. Tänä vuonna Print & Vinyl Market -osasto on Merikaapelihallin parvella. Nähdään siellä!
Toinen tärkeä päivämäärä on lokakuun ensimmäinen maanantai 7.10.2019, jolloin vietetään kansainvälisen arkkitehtijärjestön Union International des Architects UIA:n organisoimaa maailman arkkitehtuuripäivää. Me juhlistamme päivää kivijalkakaupassa edeltävänä viikonloppuna ja varsinaisena juhlamaanantaina verkkokaupassa. Laittakaa päivä kalenteriin ja pysykää kuulolla.
Syyskuun puolivälistä alkaen, tarkemmin sanottuna tiistaista 10.9.2019 eteenpäin, pienen kirjakauppamme Kadetintiellä pitäisi olla valmis palvelemaan kaikkia arkkitehtuurin ystäviä säännöllisin aukioloajoin. Tervetuloa Munkkiniemeen!

Settling in Munkkiniemi
The terribly heavy move is finally over. We’ve managed to drag all the books, shelves, furniture and other stuff to the new shop on Kadetintie and Munkkiniemi’s new architecture bookshop is just about ready to open its doors. Currently, we’re shelving the books, sorting out things, and dressing up the place for the grand opening.
Forthcoming events in autumn 2019: Design Market and World Architecture Day
Our autumn season will begin as usual with the Design Market sales event organised by Helsinki Design Week. Please stop by at Kaapelitehdas, Helsinki, between 7 and 8 September 2019 at 11–18. This year, the Print & Vinyl Market department is on the balcony of the Merikaapelihalli. See you there!
Another important date is the first Monday in October, in other words, 7 October 2019, which is the World Architecture Day organised by the Union International des Architects UIA. We’ll celebrate the occasion at the brick&mortar shop on the preceding weekend and on the webshop on Monday. Pencil that in and stay tuned.
In September, more precisely from 10 September onwards, we should have the shop ready and be able to serve all architecture lovers with regular opening hours. Welcome to Munkkiniemi!
